8th Grade

Hazelwood

The first-ever Kentucky Basketball Championship Invitational Boys 8th grade Middle School tournament saw a Southern Indiana team proving to be the winner. Hazelwood had wins over East Jessimime, Leslie County, South Laurel and Virgie. Virgie was second, South Laural third and Oldham County fourth.

Members of the All State team was as follows: Ty Proffitt, Matt Jennings, Chris Lee, Chase Minniefield, John Johnson, Joehanon Hamilton, Jordan Hammond, Colby Newsome, Shawn Styles, Drew Schmidt, Daniel Harmon, George Cress, Trenton Burns, Drew Haynes, Pebo Person and M Maldonado.

7th Grade

Jackson County

The first-ever 7th grade boys middle school tournament saw Jackson County earning the state title. Jackson County had wins over Pikeville, Blooming, Gray Middle and Spencer County. Spencer County finished 2nd, Gray Middle 3rd and South Oldham 4th.

Members of the 7th grade all state team are as follows: Matt Chambliss, Matt Roberts, Matt Clevenger, Zack Shields, John Gabbard, Jacob Bryant, Nick Brumback, Bradon Hobbs, Matt Edwards, Rolando Finch, Jonathon Erickson, Drew Simpson, Matt Crouch, Josh Morgan and Matt Faller.
