Kentucky Basketball Championship Invitational State Tournament game in 2002
|
Kentucky Basketball Championship Invitational was founded in 2002 with the idea of creating
a realistic competitive program for young basketball players
- both boys and girls - in the state of Kentucky to have the
opportunity to showcase their basketball skills in a state-wide
championship type of environment. The program is dedicated
to providing the youth of our state, no matter what race,
sex or financial ability, the opportunity to become better
citizens through the median of basketball.
The original and on-going slogan and mission of Kentucky Basketball Championship Invitational is that "Every Team Plays."
No team will be turned away from participating in a tournament
due to financial ability.
The energies and interest of our youth are channeled into
healthy pursuits that teach sportsmanship, teamwork and to
build personal confidence. These objectives are achieved through
two avenues: state and national tournaments.

The Kentucky Basketball Championship Invitational has established levels of competition for
Select/All Star teams for boys and girls in 9/under through
17/under divisions. Middle school (7th and 8th grade) and
grade school (5th-6th grade) competitions are also organized
by Kentucky Basketball Championship Invitational for boys and girls school teams.
The goal of Kentucky Basketball Championship Invitational is to offer a quality of event to
participating teams that will leave a lasting impression on
players, coaches and fans. Our mission is to offer a better
product at an affordable price. Each and every tournament
should be treated as a "Final Four" no matter what
age or skill level of those participating.
2009-10 Season
For the 2009-10 season, 50 tournaments are scheduled in Kentucky.
Kentucky Basketball Championship Invitational will once again offer the top two teams in each
tournament special discounted rates for National Tournaments.

finish among the top two will be offered special rates for
the the Division II National Invitational, which will be held
June 25-27, 2010.
