OJ Mayo is the only player in Kentucky BCI history to win the MVP award in both the Big Time Tournament, and the National Invitational tournament, two years in a row. He is currently playing in the NBA for the Memphis Grizzlies.
Hazard won the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade state titles in three consecutive years. They are the only team in Kentucky BCI Basketball history to win three consecutive state titles.
Butler's Shelvin Mack is the first player in Kentucky BCI Basketball history to go to two straight Final Fours. He also won the MVP award for his region in the tournament.
Five players that played in the first Kentucky BCI tournament game are currently playing college basketball. They are: Darius Miller (University of Kentucky), Matt Clevenger (Transylvania University), Michael Sparks, (Virginia Military Institute), Russ Middleton (Georgetown College), and Trevor Setty (Pikeville College). Trevor Setty just won the NAIA Championship and earned MVP honors with his 32pt./18 reb. performance. Here is a picture of the first game played. EKY Warriors vs. Mason County.
The starting five of the 2009-2010 Kentucky High School State Championship team were on the Kentucky BCI Middle School All Tournament Team as 7th/8th graders.

In Kentucky High School Basketball's 15th region - The last 6 players of the year have competed in a combined 100+ BCI Tournaments. Those players were Brad Lowe, Jamie Case, Landon Slone, Elisha Justice, Matt Clevenger, and Hobo McCoy.
Kentucky BCI basketball had it's first ever NBA All Star in the most recent All Star game. Congratulations Rajon Rondo!
NBA Player Rajon Rondo participated in one of Kentucky BCI Basketball's Tournaments.
Current NBA players: O.J. Mayo, Bill Walker, Greg Oden, Patrick Patterson, and Michael Conley have also participated in Kentucky BCI Basketball Tournaments.
9 out of the last 10 Mr. Kentucky Basketball's have participated in Kentucky BCI Basketball tournaments.
